Acupuncture
Acupuncture treatment involves the insertion of hair fine needles into the body, resulting in the removal of blockages as well as restoring bodily functions. It is essentially painless. Although some people may experience a slight pinch as the needle is inserted, many feel nothing at all. Once inserted, the needles remain in place for approximately 20-30 minutes. Sensations may occur around the acupuncture point such as tingling, heaviness, warmth, soreness, and pressure. These sensations are normal, and mean that you are being positively affected by the treatment. Because acupuncture needles are sterile, disposable, and used only once, there is no risk of transmitting infection.
Generally acupuncture is extremely effective in pain relief, decreasing inflammation, improving circulation, restoring vitality and energy, restoring muscle tone, and relieving stress to name a few.
